Farmhouse-Style Storage Ideas for Blankets and Towels

September 22, 2017

Living in a 500 square feet studio apartment and being both a blanket hoarder don’t usually go together. But when it comes to being comfy and cozy, I’m not one to compromise 😉 Storage space has been tight, and without a bathroom closet to store towels, blankets, and the like, I’ve had to get a bit creative.

Ugly storage bins are one option, and we’ve even gone as far as storing extra linens in our kitchen cabinets — because again, space is very limited in such a little apartment! The other option? Building storage directly into your decor! As I work to get our own organization game under control, I’m sharing a few favorite options for storing blankets and towels — all from Amazon, all super adorable, and all well-priced for those of us who are on a budget!

What are your secret storage solutions? Which of these is your favorite?

  • I love that first basket!

Love this! I have no storage space for towels in my bathroom and i have to get creative as well. Now my towel storage is one of my favorite parts of the bathroom. I used a wooden created and nailed it to the wall to create a sort of shelving.

    • That sounds so adorable! My hubs and I are saving up to buy our farmhouse, and our temporary living situation has no bathroom storage, either. I’ve definitely had to be creative on solving that problem, too!

  • I love the baskets, but I recently got a ladder and it’s great too.

    • I totally agree! I love finding ways to utilize ladders for storage options – plus, they’re adorable!
